Rice is the staple food of Filipinos, We really can't live without it. Except for those on diet of course, they tend to avoid rice because it's full of carbohydrates. Compared to people from United States, I can say that there comfort food aside from chocolate is doughnuts best complimented with coffee. Doughnuts and coffee shops sprung everywhere because people can eat it and drink coffee anytime of the day. One of the best coffee and doughnut that I've ever tasted is from Tim Hortons. It originated from Canada and eventually as time passes by they were able to expand in the US as well as United Arab Emirates and Oman. Tim Hortons was founded by Miles G. "Tim" Horton who is a National Hockey League Player from 1949 until his death in a car accident in 1974. Ron Joyce who is a former Hamilton police constable became full partners with Horton after opening two more stores by 1967. Horton met Royce after he opened his first store.

They were always changing their menu from time to time to meet the consumers tastes. Since Tim Horton started, It has always been a priority for them to serve their coffee and other beverages as well as baked goods and wide variety of breakfast and lunch option fresh in more ways than one. Nowadays, they were serving Gourmet teas for all those who prefer to drink tea instead of their famous coffee. Specialty hot beverages like espresso and latte, frozen beverages like iced capp supreme and fruit smoothies.
