The Value Of Self-Care

Everyday we face different problems and issues in life that would make us worry and stress ourselves out. But, let us also not forget that everything is just a test and soon we'll be able to figure out the answers. Always remember that locks are created together with the key. So let us always be positive towards Life. It has been months since our family had a little bonding. So my husband decided that we should set aside everything and pamper ourselves a little. It sometimes help us to think much better after de-stressing and recharging our batteries with a little pampering. A week ago, my husband already booked a hotel room for us 3 and listed on some things we can do while staying at that 5-star hotel.

Last weekend, we totally enjoyed staying at the hotel. In a way, it has help us forget all the worries that we have. Pampering ourselves is truly essential not only for our mental health but also for our happiness and positive outlook in life. With our busy life, we tend to forget that we should also prioritize self care. We arrived thirty minutes early of our booking time and decided to roam around the hotel to check on the amenities and other facilities, while we are waiting for our room to be ready. We were all very happy to see that they do have an Olympic size swimming pool and a jacuzzi on the side. The design and theme of the hotel is a Modern Victorian interiors. Everything there is modernized, from re-thinking guestroom configurations to ensuring highly personalized experiences, hotel owners are transforming accommodation units into the highlights of any escape. When, we finally checked in our hotel room, we were very surprise to see a spa-like bathroom with scented candles and flowers everywhere, as well as hotel planters with plants on the side.

We also saw huge hotel planters on the veranda with different flowers and shrubs planted on it, that is to balance comfort and formality in the hotel. The hotel also have over-sized windows for natural lighting, natural building materials, green walls and green roofs, recycling bins for guests, and electronic water faucets, they are just a few of the hotel trends for staying green as well. I think it was the best two-days off ever, and had to spend it with my husband and son which makes it even more special. taking time out to care for ourselves can remind us that our needs are important too. Having a well-cared body can make us feel good about ourselves and our life.

Re-designing Our Garden And Patio

 

The rainy days are now over and the sun is back shining everyday. Although we have lost some of our beloved plants due to heavy rain and strong winds, yet, we are still thankful that most of are plant are ok. They say that if one door closes another window opens. So, we come to realize that we should not regret loosing some of our plants, because we know we could still buy new ones and we are now much wiser when it comes to taking care of our plants especially with bad weather. It's a lesson well learned for us. We recently bought new plants and trees for the garden as replacement. And now, we are waiting for the shipment to arrive because some of the plants were bought online through our trusted seller.

In addition to these new plants and trees are the commercial fiberglass planters that we saw the other day at the mall. We bought these planters on sale and thought that its jar and jug shaped would fit perfectly to our garden and patio. Enjoying Dinner With My Family

As we all know, the moon borrows it's brightness from the sun. Without the sun, the moon will not be able to illuminate brightly at night. It's really a big mystery how thing were created and how each of us needed all of these creations to be able to survive or live. For the past three nights, we have been enjoying the beauty of the full moon. My husband and son were taking pictures of the moon, while I am preparing for our dinner last night. We planned to dine at our patio tonight. The table is all set and my two boys are just waiting for the meal to be served.

They both prepared the tables and lighted some candles and they also added some illuminated cubes on the table. We bought these illuminated cubes online and it was delivered to us after three business days. We first saw these illuminated cubes and got very fascinated with it's beauty, when my husband and I visited a bar for a drink. These lighted furniture not only provides a functional surface, but it also engages the eye with each illuminated chair or table. After cooking and plating the dishes, I immediately went to the patio because for sure my husband and son were both very hungry and is looking forward to our family dinner. We would always pray before and after each meal to thank God for all the blessing he have showered upon us. And we totally enjoyed the watching the nice view of the moon while we are all eating happily.

A family that does things together, stays together forever. Now, I get to realize the meaning of these sayings about family. It's because when a family does things together, they share a bond only they could understand. Even when the kids grow up and have their own family, they would still look back to those days when they were young and still dependent to their parents. They would definitely share the same values to their own family. In life, we always have to remember that we only reap what we have sown. So we always have to make sure to sow good and great things because it will definitely bounce back to us ten times more.

Constructing A Better World

 

Everyday we see different colors and shapes around us. It inspires us to create new and better designs for a commercial or residential settings. Even great painters, designers, architects and landscapers got their ideas from nature itself. Planters, pots, jars and jugs are just a few examples of man's great designs. It is mostly used for gardening and landscaping. Business establishments like hotels, restaurants, spa, and resorts are just few examples where we could see these great designs of man. Strolling down the park every afternoon has been our everyday routine. One striking piece that really caught me and my son's attention is the modular planter that was recently added for a much flexible design in that area.
