Dining Out With My Family

Going out to eat with my family has always been one of our favorite past time. We all love to eat and try new dishes and cuisine. Although it might really affect our nutrition plan, but we don't really mind at all. Life is too short to hold back on the things that we wanted to explore and discover. But of course we still make sure to eat the right kind of foods and meals at home. Just to balance things up for us and we get to jog at least thrice a week to make sure that we still get to maintain a healthy weight plus it helps build strong bones and improves cardiovascular fitness. That is also the reason why we really don't mind eating whatever food or dish we like, for us, eating out as a family is a great time to bond and enjoy life.

We would just eat out, whenever my husband and I were both tired coming home from work. Instead of preparing meals that would take much time, we would all just agree to dine out. I remember when we ate at a restaurant near our place, the food they serve is simply mouth-watering. And the place feels very homey, I was astounded by one of their centerpieces. It is a modern contemporary designer planter. It is such a lovely work of art. Customers would really take their pictures with the modern contemporary designer planter before leaving the place or while waiting for their food to be served. The design appears to be an I shape but has been twisted and goes well with their indoor commercial settings. We are really looking forward going back to that restaurant.

They serve all kinds of steaks and we are looking forward to taste all of them. They also serve root beer float which I totally love by the way and another specialty of the house are the gelatos which my son love so much. Family meal time is the perfect way of bonding with your husband and kids, as well as, to plan, connect and learn from one another. It's a chance to share your experiences and news for the day. It can be a unifying experience for all.

Introducing Greenery In The Office

Offices and commercial or business spaces are known to be populated places because of the employees as well as guests and customers that would usually visit these areas. Making sure that it is clean and not just presentable, but instead well-design and decorated with elegance and beauty. Owners of these buildings and offices have allocated budgets for maintenance and design especially for their place to be more attracted. Adding pots and planter, as well as living wall system can totally improve and change the look of a modern office or other business spaces.

Adding these great indoor office planters to the lobby or at the reception area will definitely give a touch of classic elegance to any space. Offices nowadays have a need for plants because of the many benefits that these employees get not just physically but also psychological effect. Introducing or decorating your office with plants on these office planters reduces stress and thus, increases productivity of each employees. Buildings and office environments appear more calming and simply a nicer place to be when plants are present. These plants are more interesting, colorful and relaxing to look at. Plants also enable employees and guests to perceive their surroundings better, thus, reducing stress.

Dust levels in the workplace can be reduced when plants are present. That only means, you breath a much cleaner air. With correct placement of plants, the need for air condition can also be reduced. By reducing the dry air caused by air conditioning and increasing the humidity, illness such as tickly coughs are much less common. But before placing these plants inside these offices, make sure to choose plants that can adopt and thrive inside these areas due to certain environmental conditions.

Experiencing Life's Simple Pleasure

A cousin of mine who works at a BPO company, won a raffle ticket for a 3 days and two nights stay at a 5-star hotel. It is a reward for being consistent top agent in their account. She is very lucky because she also gets to pick another person to come with her. When she first told me the good news about her staying at the hotel for a paid vacation, I almost felt jealous because their company had these kind of reward system. But, when she said that she will bring me along with her, I almost jump for joy. But I couldn't do that because of the fact that I am 7 moths old pregnant. I felt that staying at a hotel even for just two nights would help us relax and regain our strength, as well as, let us experience a stress-free environment.

I made sure to make a list of everything that my husband and son would need to do when I am not around. And made bold letters on making sure that the plants are taken cared of by them. They both agreed to help one another while I am on a 3 day vacation with my cousin. I wanted to bring them along with us, but it would just ruin the plans my cousin and I made for the short stay at the hotel. My husband and son, drop us off at the hotel where we will be staying. The employees were very helpful and friendly and they always carry along with them their courteous smiles ready to greet and serve every customer. At the lobby, I notice that the have unique interiors. I was informed that the hotel was designed by a British Architect. When we reached the room where we will be staying, I immediately check the veranda. It is overlooking the pool and the whole city as well. They also have these cute modern lattice planter beside the coffee table at our veranda. There are varieties of flowers planted in the modern lattice planter which made it more interesting.

We were very satisfied and looking forward to stay in that hotel again. They really pampered us and made us feel very welcomed and well accommodated. Life is short, so we must make sure to grab every opportunity to enjoy life while it lasts. Let us also be thankful to our Creator for blessing us and providing us with the kind of life that we truly deserve.

Traveling To The Countryside Alone

It was a rainy Saturday morning and I had to wake up early because I will be traveling for 4 hours to the countryside. I was a bit excited, since I get to travel alone and I will have more time for myself to reflect and to find my inner peace again. I will be away from our busy life in the city just for two days. I left all the responsibilities at home to my husband and son. I hope that they do good on the tasks that I have given them. I will be staying at my friend's house for two days because she will be on a business trip and nobody will be left at her place. That is the reason why she asked me for this kind of favor. I couldn't say no because I know that I also need this time to relaxed and unwind.

Good thing, my son agreed to stay at home with his Dad just for two days. Because, he would usually tag along wherever I go. His dad had to bribe him with playing computer games, so that he will not insist on going with me on this trip to the countryside. Everything is far different from the busy life at the city compared to the countryside. I can smell the fresh air and the hear the different sounds of animals coming from different farms. When I arrived at my friends house, she is already packing her things up and getting ready to go to the airport. She left a list of things that I can do while she is away and clearly instructed me not to do house chores because I am there for a vacation and not to clean her house. I was really amazed seeing how beautiful her backyard is. She is also a plant lover like I do and sharing this same interest made our friendship grew stronger. She has a growing collection of flowering plants and I even saw some rectangular fiberglass planters on the patio full of flowering plants too.

I saw the pair of rectangular planters that I had given her as a gift last year. It is displayed in the middle of her garden and I was really touched by how she treasured and kept that gift of mine to her. I decided to go back inside her house because it started to rain. I sat by a rocking chair that is located near the window while sipping a cup of coffee and started reading a good book that is written by my favorite author Anne Rice. It's gonna be a long 2 days but I know that I will simply enjoy every bit of it.
