Custom Planters an Artistic look
A room or office does look bare without any plants in them, don’t you think? This is what most interior and exterior designers would thing so too. They believe that plants give a final touch to any room. They highlight radiance, elegance, and beauty. It is, however, important that these plants are placed in beautiful containers. You can’t expect someone to appreciate a plant placed on a tin can, right?
There are different planter containers that are readily available in the market. At times though, they just don’t fit right in our interior or exterior design. Custom planters are great way to make sure that every piece in your house goes well and blend together. These are planters that could be customized according to the look, style, and size you want.
There are limited materials to choose from. Depending on the style of your house or office, you may experiment and stick to safer materials. For minimalist style, you can go for fiber glass containers. They are elegant and modern in style. They could be customized to have a rounded or a simple rectangular shape. For more traditional and vintage style, you may go for wood materials. One of the most safest and popular wood materials you may invest on are redwood. You could go for California redwood or Pasadena red wood. They give more highlight to wide painted room and to marble floorings.
There are more materials to start with a planter box. You may use ordinary lumber that are easy to construct and design. One of the better lumber materials you could use would be cedar. These are cost effective materials that could easily be customized. Just make sure though that the style is intricately well thought off. Also make sure that the color of the paints you use matches the walls and the flower. If your flooring is too dark, complement it with white painted or light painted planters. This is to balance the contrast of the house. Same goes with lighter floorings, match it with darker painted planters.
With it comes to sizes, you may experiment in this. You can go for taller custom planters or shorter ones. Larger ones though would suit well in gardens not the inside. This could be possible if your house has larger space. Smaller size version of these planters could go well minimal spaces or with minimalist styles.
Custom planters are great accents to any room or space. Choosing the right materials and colors will blend and emphasize any home or office style.
