Taco bell is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands Inc. The Americans were the first one who introduced Taco Bell, it is a chain of fast-food restaurants and was first based in Irvine, California. Taco Bell served a variety of Texas-Mexican foods which includes tacos, buritos, quesadillas, nachos and other specialty items which also includes a variety of "Value Meals".  In the year 1946, Glen Bell, who is the founder of Taco Bell, first opened it's hotdog stand in San Bernardo, California and he named the stand called Bell's Drive-In. Six years later, Glen Bell sold his hotdog stand and opened a new one two years later, this time he is selling tacos under the name of Taco-Tia. Bell being a good businessman was able to put up and operated a number of restaurants in California including the four called El Taco. But it was not long after he sold his El Tacos to his partner and built the first Taco bell in Downey in the year 1962. He also sold Taco-Tia on that same year.

A franchiser bought the first Taco Bell and located it in Torrance, He is Kermit Becky a former Los Angeles police officer. The company grew rapidly and today Taco Bell serves more than 2 billion customers each year in more than 5,800 restaurants in the US, more than 80 percent of which are operated by independent franchisees.Taco Bell,. like any other businesses experienced the same highs and lows, but a business this strong, they did not give up easily. Taco bell has a current slogan of  "Live Más" due to the introduction of Cantina Bell Menu. Today they serve different types of Menu like the Volcano Menu which includes Volcano Buritos, Nachos and Taco as well as the Cantina Menu which includes Cantina Bowl chicken, Cantina Burrito chicken and Cantina Burito Steak.
