Reunited With Old Friends

A friend is someone that we consider precious and will always be part of our lives, some may be false but there's always gonna be that one or group of people who will stay and stick with you through thick or thin. Reunions are always the best especially if you will meet up with genuine people whom you haven't seen for a long time. Last April 5,2014, we celebrated our high school reunion and I get to see my classmates and some batch mates too. Although just a few people attended because others are out of the country and some have their own personal reasons, the celebration of seeing each other after 10 years was really good. We are all grown up now and we think more maturely compared to our high school days but we had a good laugh about our pasts.

The program started exactly around 6 in the afternoon because before that a mass was held, led by one of my classmates who is now practicing to be a priest. The main purpose of the reunion is for our batch to be able to form an organization that aims to extend educational support to the students applying as a regular class student in our Alma matter. All have agreed to the objectives of the project and the program just flowed out smoothly. After the program, we all went to the nearest KTV bar to just enjoy and reminisce the past. The place was nice and very cozy, the KTV room could cater around 15 people, we laugh and sing till we no longer hear our voices because of too much noise, good thing is that the room is soundproof. They have a big TV screen and the sofa was very comfortable, the food and drinks are great too. Indoor plants in a round commercial fiberglass planter can also be seen at the corners of the room.

We went home with a big smile on our faces and we enjoyed every bit of our time spent with one another. Sad to say that we do not know when our next reunion would be, it might be after ten years or more, but hopefully it would be as happier as it is the first time.
