Visiting the Red City

"The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page". That is a quote from the famous Saint, who is, St. Augustine. As we all know, he was an early Christian theologian whose writings were very influential in the development of Western Christianity and Western philosophy. Amongst most of his important works were city Of God and Confessions, which  is still read by many up to today. I do believe in that saying, and that is the reason why traveling has been a passion to me and I do not want to get stuck in just one location. I would like to explore and see what the world can offer. They also say that the farther you travel, the harder it would be to find your way back home. But, I personally don't think so, with the technology that we have today, travel is much easier and comfortable.

On one of our travel, we visited Marrakech, which is a major city in the Northwest African nation of Morocco. We went there to explore their so-called "Red city" or "Ochre city". They got it's nickname because of the red walls built by Ali ibn Yusuf (5th Almoravid king), and various buildings constructed in red sandstone. We stayed at La Mamounia Hotel, it is a five-star hotel in Morocco and is the heart of the old city Marrakech. We were also able to have a sight of the Atlas Mountain which our hotel is directly facing to. The hotel have the best and the most luxurious rooms and decorations in whole Morocco. The contrast between the old city and the impeccable beauty of this place is amazing. The hotel also offer variety of food menu from it's traditional Moroccan cuisine to French, Mediterranean, and Italian cuisine that would definitely satisfy your food cravings.

After a whole day of tour in their city, you could also relax and refresh yourself at the Spa La Mamounia, with over 80 treatments including a full line of face and body therapies, as well as a large indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, 9 treatment rooms, 6 outdoor massage cabins, a gym and a spa suite. At night the hotel looks magical, with all these lighting that would welcome you from the entrance of the hotel gong up to your room. Plants and trees on large Cairo vase planter are displayed all over the place to add beauty and attractiveness to the location. For more details about the rooms availability and the rates and  promos,as well as early reservation please refer to their website.
