Trees provide humans a lot of important things that we need in our everyday life. It does not only give us shade through the sunny day or a place to keep us dry and warm when the rain comes, but it is also a main source for the wood that we need in building our home and offices. Wood once functioned as the primary building material because it was strong, relatively inexpensive and abundant. Today many of these woods that were once plentiful are only available in large quantities through reclamation. The once abundant forest that we get these woods from are depleting because of deforestation but let us not worry because there were actions taken already for preserving these trees instead of just cutting them down for our own needs.
Most forest have historically been affected by humans to some degrees, though in recent years improved forestry practices has helped regulate or moderate large scale or severe impacts. That is also one of the reason why reclaimed lumber industry gained it's popularity when large-scale reuse of softwoods began. The industry grew due to a growing concern for environmental impacts as wells as declining quality in new lumber or wood. There are actually many uses of reclaimed wood or recycled wood that would benefit both humans and nature. One example of a reclaimed wood that we could use at home is the recycled wood planter, but it can also be use for commercial spaces like wineries, rustic resorts, restaurant, patios and more.
These recycled wood planter are just perfectly fit for your home especially for those who loves and cares for the environment. Instead of buying those expensive planters, why not try these recycled ones. The materials came from different types of reclaimed cedar, pine and even redwood, so you are sure that it will surely have a longer life span.
