A Place We Call Home

" A family that Prays together, Stays together. " That is a quote I would always hear especially from the elders. It was just recently that I prove how powerful that message is and I'm very thankful that We followed that message. I can still clearly remember the day that we first moved into our little house. Looking back and reminiscing those days brought back some of the happiest moments of my family life. While we are moving our things from the truck that we rent to our humble home my son would play at the front yard and he also tried looking for some children of his age. I know he is also looking for a friend since we are just new in the neighborhood. Good thing some of our neighbors are very friendly and welcomed us to the neighborhood with a happy heart. When we finish unloading all of our things from the truck, some of our neighbors helped us in carrying it inside the house, especially our furniture. Thanks to them, moving to a new place and home seemed much easier.

It took us 2 days to have fully finish decorating the house and unpacking our things. My husband planned on having a little garden at the backyard. Good thing the old owner of the house also love plants and flowers and they were able to make a little garden and all we have to do is improve on some areas of the garden. All of his gardening tools are stored inside a Deck Box which we bought a year ago. We bought it especially for his gardening tool because he do not want his things to be touched and to be played of by our son because it is very dangerous. On our third day at the house, we held a small housewarming party. It was fun and tiring since it is the first time that we held such party, yet, it was very fulfilling because of the compliments that we receive form our neighbors and eventually those neighbors became our friends.

Today, we are very happy on our decision of moving out of my husband's parents house because It's really different having to run your own household. It taught us to be better parents for our son as well. And for the past years we have lived in unity and with great harmony inside and outside our home. Things might have been difficult sometimes but we are thankful that we have each others shoulder to lean on. And we believe that whatever problem life may throw to us, I know that we could overcome it because God is always on our side and He would never leave Us.
